AddictedWiki:Image Policy
The image policy is a set of guidelines explaining the proper uploading, use, and deletion of images.
Images on Articles
The following two types of images can be added to article pages:
- Official and semi-official images: This includes: book covers, promotional and marketing images, and any artwork displayed in special editions of the book.
- Fanart: Images created by fans
- Royalty-free and copyright-free images
Crediting
- Please respect artists' wishes if they do not want their artwork reposted, likewise, art should always be credited, uncredited art will be removed.
No AI-Generated images
AI-generated images are not allowed on this wiki. This policy is in place to support real artists and avoid potential copyright issues. Any AI-generated images found will be removed.
Image Naming
- Book covers: For standard book covers, use the format
Cover-BookTitleand an incremental number only if necessary.
Example: File:Cover-AddictedtoYou.jpg
- Character Art: List the first name of the character(s) in alphabetical order separated by commas and using "&", followed by the name of the artist. Use an incremental number at the end if necessary.
- Other: For other images that do not fall into any of the mentioned above, try to use a descriptive file name as opposed to random letters and numbers, and use an incremental number if necessary.
