Lily Calloway Spills Secrets about the Addicted Series This interview takes place during the same time as Kiss the Sky, meaning everyone is participating in a reality show called Princesses of Philly.
Tina (GBA XM Radio Co-Host): If you’re just tuning in, it’s Pop Culture Chitchat with Sonya & Tina time. We’re about to phone in with Lily Calloway, who’s a part of “Princesses of Philly”—a hit reality show that airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. on GBA. For anyone who hasn’t seen “Princesses of Philly” you need to watch this show.
Sonya (GBA XM Radio Co-Host): Yes, you have to. Susan and I spent all morning fanning ourselves after that episode where all the men go to the gym.
Tina: Hot, hot, hot. Wooo. I need a glass of water just thinking about it.
Sonya: We tried to get Ryke Meadows on the phone, but the network was afraid to have him on live.
Tina: The f-bombs that come out of that guy’s mouth. I’d soap him down.
Sonya: *laughs* I’ll have to fight you for that. *dialing* We’re ringing in Lily right now.
Lily: *whispers to someone in the background* Is this on? Rose… Rose, don’t leave.
Tina: *laughs* Lily, are you on the air with us?
Lily: Uhhh… *squeaks out* Yes?
Sonya: We’ve been dying to talk to you, Lily. How are you doing? How’s Loren and the engagement?
Lily: Good… really good. *whispers* Rose… come back… *sound of scampering feet*
Tina: Are you running away from us? *laughs* Don’t be frightened. We don’t bite.
Sonya: Although if Ryke asked me to, I’d bite any part of him. Yum.
Lily: *pants heavily* Sorry…I needed a snack. I’m in the kitchen… um, to eat.
Tina: Good thinking. We need some popcorn in here for this. You’re calling us today to spill some secrets about your cast mates, and Sonya and I have been debating all morning on which one is going to be the juiciest.
Sonya: I just have this feeling that there’s more to Connor Cobalt than meets the eye. Though my heart belongs to Ryke. Will you let him know, Lily?
Lily: Sure… *whispers to someone in the background* Stop hovering.
Ryke: *muffled* I’m just standing here, Calloway.
Sonya: *theatrical gasp* Is that Ryke? Can you put him on the air too?
Lily: No, no, no. That wasn’t Ryke. He’s nowhere near me. We don’t hang out at all. Completely separated. In fact I rarely see him. I’m always with Loren Hale. Twenty-four-seven—I mean, not all the time. We’re not that codependent. We’re healthy and…
Lo: *muffled in background* Shh, Lil. Breathe.
Tina: *smile to her voice* Are both guys in the kitchen with you, Lily?
Ryke: *muffled* this blew up quickly.
Lily: *whispers back* I was running away from both of you. I just needed Rose.
Ryke: *muffled* What the fuck, Lily? We’re going to chase you when you have wild, bugged eyes and frantically dart downstairs.
Tina: Was that an f-bomb? Ack, we’re sorry, listeners, if you’ve caught that. Lily, can you hear us?
Lo: *muffed* Just take the phone back, Lil. You can do this.
Lily: *deep breaths* *clears throat* It’s just me here. No Lo, no Ryke.
Sonya: *laughs* we’ll take your word for it.
Lily: Okay, I should spill the secrets now. I just want to let everyone know that these are pre-approved secrets. I haven’t betrayed anyone by coming on here.
Sonya: We wouldn’t expect you too. You’re far too sweet. Let’s start with my beau, Ryke.
Tina: I bet the secret has to do with Daisy. If you haven’t watched, Ryke and the youngest Calloway are always linked together on the reality show. They’re both clear fan-favorites.
Sonya: But just friends. She’s still a teenager, which means more chances for me.
Lily: *blurts out* Ryke takes the fastest shower. Literally, he gets in, scrubs a little, and gets out—not that I watch him! I’m nowhere, nowhere near his shower. Not even within five feet. Or in the room. I’ve never even seen him naked.
Ryke: *muffled* Smooth. Fucking smooth.
Tina: *whispers to co-host* Are we bleeping him?
Sonya: *whispers to co-host* I think we did.
Lily: Um, and then Daisy loves to skinny-dip and streak.
Ryke: *muffled* Did you really have to tell the whole world that?
Lo: *muffled* Hey, she was given the list of secrets. Lay off her.
Lily: *clears throat* And then Rose had her first kiss when she was seventeen at Model UN. Connor was there, competing against her, but he wasn’t the one that she kissed.
Sonya: Aww, was it Scott?
Lily: No. She didn’t know Scott when she was in prep school.
Lo: *muffled* Good job, Lil.
Lily: *smile in her voice* Connor was asked to skip first, second, and third grade—and he said no. They asked him again when he was in eighth grade, and he said “hell no.” That’s quoted. *pauses like she’s trying to read her list clearly*
Tina: Wow, why didn’t he want to skip grades?
Lily: Uhh…good question… *whispers in background* Rose, Rose…
Ryke: *muffled* I’ll get her. (short pause with lots of muffled conversations)
Rose: *loudly on air* Because he’s Connor. He didn’t want to cheat himself out of anything in life. Neither did his mother. *pauses* You have one minute left with my sister.
Tina: We just need Lily and Lo’s secrets.
Lily: Right, um. Lo’s secret is that he’s a night owl. He’ll go to bed around three a.m. and I can’t whistle *speaks quickly* that’s it! *the line clicks*
Tina: Lily?
Sonya: Always a show with the Calloway girls and their men. Did you notice how Ryke and Loren were with her, Tina?
Tina: I definitely did. Sounds like there’s more to that story. We’ll have to tune in to next week’s episode to find out if Ryke and Loren have something…intimate going on with Lily at the same time.
Sonya: *whistles* so naughty, but you know it’s always in the tabloids. Ryke goes almost everywhere with them.
